Woodhaven - Senior Housing Complex

Front Door at WoodhavenThe Town of Sherborn owns and manages a 24-unit rental complex near the town center. These one and two bedroom apartments serve the needs of those who are ready to downsize from the care and responsibility of a house and yard. They are a great option for any Sherborn family who would like a parent to move closer as they age. The apartments are open to any senior (age 62 or older) who is able to live independently. Sherborn residency is not required, and residents have come from Florida, Easton, Framingham, Natick, Holliston and western Massachusetts to join the Woodhaven community.

Woodhaven is situated on several lovely landscaped acres, with walking paths and a patio gathering area. One of the three buildings contains a Community Room primarily designed to be a welcoming, informal gathering place for all Woodhaven residents.

In addition, the Community Room can be reserved by Woodhaven residents for a private function.

When not being used by the Woodhaven residents, the room is available to the Council on Aging for educational, recreational, and civic purposes. Authority for approving other uses and "Applications" rests with the Sherborn Elder Housing Committee.
