The General Contractor for the Library project, Five Star Building Corp., is due to begin ledge removal for the new addition on Monday, February 27th. This will be a noisy operation that could last several weeks depending on how difficult removal of the ledge will be. You may hear noise from hydraulic excavators with specialty attachments for the breaking and removal of the ledge. No blasting will be performed. Additionally - excavators, loaders, and trucks removing dirt and rock will be used. Note: Backup beepers on all mobile equipment will be heard for safety reasons.
