Gael Varsa is a Dover resident with 40 years of extensive nursing experience in acute care, ambulatory care, urgent care, triage, school nursing, case management, VNA, and health care finance. A note from Gael:
" I recently finished a 25-year career at Atrius Health in early February. My work included care management program design, quality measurement and outcomes for Medically Home programs, value-based models of care in the post-acute setting, triage and vaccine clinics and expertise in clinical documentation integrity. This work was recognized in Modern Health Care 2017 Excellence in Nursing Award and Nursing Team Achievement for the Atrius Health Total Joint Replacement Program and a 2017 finalist for the Massachusetts Hospital Association Accountable Care Compass Award in Physician Practice Innovations. I have worked collaboratively with academic medical centers including BWH, BIDMC, Stanford University Hospital and Clinics, UCSF, Moffitt Hospital to develop integrated case management and quality assurance programs. I have a diploma in Nursing from the Massachusetts General Hospital, an undergraduate degree in Nursing from Columbia University and a certificate in Health Law and Bioethics from Boston University."
Gael serves as the Public Health Nurse for the town of Sherborn and Dover and we are excited to have her join our team!
