Summary Information for Residents

The Select Board has called for a Special Town Meeting to be held on October 17, 2023 at 7:00pm.  It will be held at Lindquist Commons, Dover Sherborn High School. At the Special Town Meeting on October 17, 2023, Sherborn residents will vote on the establishment of a North Sherborn Water and Sewer District. If approved, it will allow Framingham's MWRA water and sewer pipes to be extended into Sherborn to provide water and sewer infrastructure to two housing projects on Coolidge Street that the Town has already approved. These projects will allow the Town to comply with the State 40B law that requires all towns to provide at least 10% affordable housing, and will provide a diversity of housing options, a major goal of Sherborn's Master Plan and Housing Production Plan.
