Sherborn Town Forest Wood Cutting Program needs Volunteers!!

The Sherborn Town Forest Committee has been very fortunate in having a group of Men & Women that have volunteered their time to cut and split firewood and then deliver it to Sherborn residents with a preference to senior citizens. This group has been operating for over 25 years and has raised a large sum of money to be used by the Town Forest Committee to manage and maintain our wonderful forest. Most of this group of volunteers are ageing and can no longer provide the level of service that they once provided. The group is in dire need of younger volunteers that are willing to gather at the firewood cutting area on Saturday mornings for a couple of hours to cut, split, stack and meet new friends.
