Voter Status - Inactive Voters

Attention Voters: Your voter status may have been changed from “Active” to “Inactive."  

If your voter registration is inactivated you are considered an inactive voter in the Town of Sherborn.  

Voters become inactive from the Voting List when they:

  1. Do not respond to the Annual Town Census (M.G.L. c. 51, §37)
  2. Move within the Town and do not submit a change of address with the Town Clerk’s office.
  3. Move out of the Town and have not registered to vote in their new city or town

To change your voter status back to “Active” or to remove your name from the Inactive List, you will need to complete this Affirmation Form and return it to the Town Clerk’s office.

If your voter status is inactive, you may mail or drop off the signed affirmation form to the drop box outside of Town Hall
