Fire Prevention Services & Fees
The Sherborn Fire & Rescue Department prides itself on its role in reducing risk in the community by providing Fire Prevention services.
Please use the link below to schedule an inspection and when prompted, choose the top 3 dates that work best for you. The Department will reach out to you, and will make every effort to accommodate your request. Inspections are typically done between 9 am and 3 pm, Monday through Friday. Note: All failed inspections may be subject to a re-inspection fee due at time of re-inspection.

Per Chapter 3, Section 15 of the Sherborn Town By-Laws
In addition to the Fire Chief's authority under the State Board of Fire Prevention Regulations, the Fire Chief or the Fire Chief's designee may require review by an independent third party with expertise in the matter of any proposed or completed work, plans, construction, applications, or other matters requiring fire protection, fire code, or fire department review. Such third-party review shall be at the applicant's expense.
