Request Letter of Good Standing

The Sherborn Police Department upon receiving a request for a Letter of Good Standing, will conduct an internal records database search for the individual requested. This information will only include contacts and involvement with the Sherborn Police Department. No other queries of any law enforcement agencies will be conducted.

In accordance with M.G.L. c. 6 s. 175 and the Massachusetts Department of Criminal Justice Information Services “Global Justice and Public Safety Information Sharing Policy” regarding the dissemination of Criminal Offender Records Information (CORI), The Sherborn Police Department is prohibited from releasing any such information to individual citizens. Also, please note that in accordance with U.S. Department of Criminal Justice Federal Bureau of Investigations “Criminal Justice Information Security Policy” regarding the dissemination Federal NCIC and FBI Identification Record Information, The Sherborn Police Department is prohibited from releasing any such information to individual citizens. Individuals may apply for these records on the FBI website at the following web address: https://www.fbi.gov/how-we-can-help-you/more-fbi-services-and-information/identity-history-summary-checks
